The NATO Defense College (NDC) is pleased to announce a new research opportunity for citizens of NATO member states: the NDC Eisenhower Defence Fellowship programme, named after the College’s founder, General Dwight D. Eisenhower.
The programme began in 2015; each year the NDC Research Division selects – on a competitive basis – three NDC Eisenhower Defence Fellows: 1 Senior Eisenhower Defence Fellow (4 months) and 2 Eisenhower Defence Fellows (3 months each). Each fellow receives a stipend to cover his/her travel and living expenses while conducting research at the NDC (please refer to the Terms and Conditions explaining the differences between Fellowships).
The fellows will be selected on the basis of their specific aptitude and experience for carrying through a major defense or security research project related to NATO, its member states and/or the Partner country (research projects with no relation to NATO will not be considered). Beside the quality of the research proposal, very important in order to be selected will be the academic qualifications of the candidate, professional experience and publication record.
